well, half way thru fmq, my new machine just up and quit. It is going to the shop on Friday but I just couldn't stand having it unfinished. So I got out the old machine (which I learned fmq technique) and finished it. However, I will say that it was work using the old machine. Its not automatic...It was jerky...I didn t have the big sewing table to eliminate drag. It was hard work! How blessed and spoiled I am.
Anyway, this quilt is made from leftover snowballed hst's and some velvet and gaberdine squares that I didn't know what I was going to do with. I think it might be a great tree skirt! The Shriners will figure it out.
