Default Thankful for the Great Quilting Forum!

    Hello, Missouri Star Quilting Forum!

My name is Nadia Arensdorf, and I live near Houston, Texas. I've been quilting since 1992, but since I also homeschooled my kids and just recently graduated with my M.A. in English, I also have many UFOs I'm trying to reconnect with. I am very excited about completing some projects that I still like.

I've perused many of the forum posts, and it looks like you all have some great ideas. I am looking forward to learning from you!

    Glad to be here. Thanks!

    Nadia

Hi Nadia and welcome to the Forum, home of some of the smartest and nicest people on the planet!! They have come to my rescue so many times when I could not figure something out. Plus it is so fun and inspiring to see what everyone is making. Maybe you can share pics of what you are working on. And it is a great forum for chit chat and venting on quilt related stuff, family or work issues or just about anything. Except politics is not allowed which is a good thing don't get me started on that LOL

Thank you for the welcome! I've already asked a question about bias bars and have gotten some helpful responses. I appreciate the knowledge here!

Welcome, Nadia ~ from sunny Colorado. Congratulations on completing your MA. Homeschooling also is a challenge. Good luck with your UFOs. I have plenty of those at my house, too. Enjoy participating here. We're a friendly bunch.

Hello Nadia! Welcome to the forum, from Northern California.

I'm fascinated that you pursued a Masters in English after homeschooling. I fell in love with English while homeschooling my children. I know that I wasn't taught the things I learned through homeschooling. (I believe that the school system in which I grew up thought that teaching proper grammar and punctuation would stifle children's creativity. I come from a very artsy community—creativity trumped rules!) I actually became an editor after I finished my homeschooling years.

I hope we see you regularly here on the forum!
