Default Precuts plus yardage in quilt

I am using fat quarters for the blocks in a quilt, already pieced and about to be squared up, none pre-washed. Using yardage for the borders and backing so Iím thinking just press and starch then cut and piece, quilt and bind and not wash any of it until complete because none of the rest of the fabric has been washed. Yes? No? Thanks in advance!

Hello there and welcome! Yes, that is how I would do it. I never prewash fabric unless it is flannel.

Welcome to the forum. I don't wash my fabric (except for flannel) until my quilt is completely done. Glad you joined us!

I don't wash fabric unless it's some that was given to me. I use flannel as my quilt's backing & no quilt so far hasn't had any problem.
