Default Where to go for parts & service for featherweight sewing machine

My newest baby needs a new bobbin hook assembly (don't ask) & so far no local repair shop. Do any of you featherweight owners have a safe reliable shop to recommend? Any advice to give?

    Thanks.

You can find parts and pretty much everything Featherweight here. Any sewing machine repair place can work on a Featherweight. Mechanical machines are easy to repair and the Featherweight Shop has how to videos as well

I am in agreement with Karen, shop for parts at the link she gave. You should be able to work on your baby yourself. There are great tutorials on you tube. Look it up and that may be there for do it yourself repair. You could also join your local Treadle on Gathering Academy or TOGA for short. This is a yahoo group and someone has probably done this repair and can talk you through it.
