    Default Question about quilt sizes

I want to make a quilt for a friend to take to her chemo treatments. I know some of you make quilts for this purpose.
What is the best size to make?

I make quilts for Victoria Quilts Canada. These are provided to those undergoing treatments. The size is roughly 56-58" x 68-72". The backs are flannel.

Are you going to put a foot pocket in it? My feet are always cold.

Thanks to all who replied. I will go with approx. 60X72".

LauraP....interesting about the foot pocket. Never would have thought to do that. I will see how the quilt goes and make a decision about the pocket after the top is finished.

A foot pocket is a great idea!
