How do you avoid chopping off the points on the pinwheel? I’m finding that when I square the blocks I’m losing the outside points. After watching the tutorial and following the pattern in Block, I’m clearly doing something wrong because it sure doesn’t look like Jenny is losing the pinwheel points in the video. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I made one of those and lost a lot of points, don't know how to avoid it.

I was planning to make one of these with my 30s fabric, but I certainly don’t want to lose the point. Interested in their answer also.

Hi MSQC girls, have you had a chance to answer our questions regarding the loss of points when making the kindred pinwheel quilt?

Look at the two blocks in the video at 10:12. It looks like the points are there and seam allowances.
Would it work to cut the strips at 2 3/4 and then trim down when squaring up the block?

this might be a good time to try a test block before cutting out the whole quilt.
