Default A QAYG question regarding backing??

So this is my first QAYG And although Iíve learned a lot but Iím getting ready to put the backing on this quilt and I didnít realize that this is going to happen. I can see the seams on the back of the quilt as pictured. I followed a YouTube video and she didnít say anything about it showing up on the back and in fact she said just the opposite But maybe Iím thinking of depends on the fabric also if the fabric is the dark it wonít show up. The quilt is quite heavy now between the FMQ And the batting and all the fabric in front since itís a memory quilt. Kinda donít know what to do from here if I should just go ahead and keep it like that. Mahalo

I think it is the backing fabric as I have done several this way and never noticed where the blocks were joined.

I think it's fine, just give it a good ironing

I agree a good ironing just might do the trick, I don't think it looks bad either. Just another design element for you to see.

Well, I am confused. If it's a "Quilt as you go" then doesn't it already have backing? Isn't it quilted already?

I didn't put the backing on it I followed a u-tube video that just added the batting no backing lesson learned never again

Oh, yeah. Thanks for sharing. I won't try this either. Well, if it's not going to a warmer location, then you could add a layer of batting under the backing, and quilt it around the already quilted parts. Maybe? I don't know how much quilting is on the front already.

I did a FMQ of hearts around each block now there not laying flat at all when the backing is on so irritating and it’s for a customer. Yikes.
