Default UCONN article about Jerrod and his treatment.

This is an interesting article. Look at my little buddy's smile. Now if he'd just let me cut that hair.

What a brave young man. How in the world did they come upon cornstarch as a possible cure? That seems so out there.

    And his hair is beautiful

Corn starch isn't the cure, it's what's kept him alive since he was 9 months old. Every three hours he drinks his slurry of cornstarch and water. I have no idea who came up with that idea, but I'm so glad he found Dr. Weinstein. Since he's been under Dr. Weinstein's care he's been able to get rid of his feeding tube.

Jerrod and Mike became friends in middle school. They both are victims of bullying because of medical issues. I'm glad Jerrod and Mike have each other's back.

lol, I always tease him about his hair. ;-)

I'm so impressed with Jerrod's bravery and perseverance.
Toni ... If I keep sewing long enough, will they make their own dinner?

God bless Jerrod & the medical staff working to make a difference for all those affected by this problem. Tell him we are all rooting for him!
