    Default Pattern Joseph Coat

I am a newbie and I am wanting to make my grandson a quilt. He wants it to be in rainbow colors. So I wondered if there is a quilt based on Joseph’s coat of many colors? Or if Jenny has ever done a tutorial on this?
    Thank you 😊

I've used rainbow colored batiks to make all three grandchildren quilts, not to mention my own to go with my multicolored chair.

Phoebe's flower box is the one that I have that Jenny did. I did a Cornered Drunkards Path with batiks and black, the Double slice would be pretty in rainbow colors, Katie's quilt, Emerald Isle would all be pretty in rainbow colors.

There's a pattern called Joseph's Coat, but Jenny hasn't done it. This one is an older pattern:

I've also seen another one by the same name, but totally different:

I wonder if you could use Jenny's orange peel template and pattern? It's a bit wider than the typical Joseph's Coat template but I think it could work.

Nancy, this is a wonderful opportunity for you. When Dolly Partons Mother made her coat of many colors she used what she had and stitched it together. Just get a bag of scraps and start sewing. It will mean much more than an organized pattern. Before I learned about patterns I just sewed and sewed. We needed blankets and I just did them up. Those quilts are all still in use. When they get too patterned, people won't use them...they think they are to be saved. A quilt is to wrap someone in love. SO make us a quilt of many colors.
