I'm going on a bus trip from Manitoba with 35 fellow quilters. We leave here Sep 12 to Sept 18, we will be staying in Cameron, Missouri for a couple days to visit Hamilton. Will also be attending a trunk show with Jenny. I am so excited.

Hope you enjoy your time there.

Kim ~ I hope your quilting trip will be just what you need to help you through your grieving time & get past the funk. What a great time you'll have. I'd love to visit M*, but it's not in the cards for me with my caregiving responsibilities.

Chillicothe ( home of sliced bread) is about 25 miles east of the Hamilton exit.

Hamilton has several nice Bed and Breakfast places right in Hamilton - walking distance of MSQC. Basically all of them are either brand new or just a few years old.
    Dawson Retreats
    Mari's House Bed and Breakfast
    Home Inn Hamilton
    Morning Star Inn
Hotel Hamilton which just opened in June was specially designed to handle a bus load of people.

An event that you may want to check out is Christmas in July event at Quilting is My Therapy in Liberty on July 28th.

How fun is that. Do you know where you are staying in Cameron?

Thanks for your recommendations in Hamilton. I saw that event on July 28, but I have to be in Wichita to help my FIL move to nursing home. So little time, so much to see and do.
