Default Want to be brave & tell us your age?

Some of us have mentioned our age here & there but I was just wondering what yours is. I'll be 68 on August 25. Come on, if I can type it maybe you can too? I promise not to tell a soul

No big deal, almost 71. Never could understand why age bothers some.

I'm 82 1/2. No problem for me either, how else can I explain my wrinkles, grey haired 84 year old DH, 3 sons 52-62, 9 grandkids, 18-36 and 8 great grand sons 7-6 months?

I'm 71 and counting. If I feel well and I can do what I want to do, I don't care what my age is.

    The calendar says I'm 47.
Some days I'm a spunky 6 year-old full of silliness & wonder, others my body claims it's a decrepit 112 creaking and groaning.

Just had my 63rd birthday in June. I had a very hard time with my age when I turned 60. It was the first time I realized I had more birthdays behind me than in my future. Something happened around age 61 and I came to terms with my fears and worry and have been fine ever since. I am so thankful to be healthy and not on any medication so am hoping to go for a heck of a lot more years!

    55 and proud of it!

When I turned 29, I remember so many people talking about how hard turning 30 was for them, so I decided that I was going to prepare myself for it, so from the day after my 29th birthday whenever I was asked how old I was, I would respond "I'll be 30 . Somewhere along the line during that 12 month period I just started telling people "I'm 30" and when my birthday rolled around again I actually thought I was turning 31 and was overjoyed to realize I was only 30! To this day, I have to think about my age, and it never bothers me.

I am 70 and just after my birthday last fall I realized that if I was going to have a retirement I should get at it and retired. I loved my job, but felt I needed to get on with the next phase if my life!!! And it has been wonderful!!! Never once did I wonder what am I going to do today? Took to retirement like a fish takes to water!!!
