    Default Question for MSQ girls

I have 18 1/3 yard cuts of 1930’s fabric. Want to make as many lap size quilts as I can from them with added background fabric of course. Which way would I get the most out of it. Cutting 10” squares or 2 1/2” strips.

Thank you, I appreciate all the advice I can get. Though I have been quilting many years I am new to the pre cut scene, but I tried it and I love it! Pre cutting a lot of mt stach, thus the question.

The smaller you cut it, the more seams. I’d say the larger squares will go farther.

Also, you might want to decide on size and pattern and just cut what and as you need. Unless you know you want to make the same pattern or always use the same pre cut size.
