Default Linda McGibbon of Lakeview Quilting patterns

Has anyone make any of the quilts patterns from "Linda McGibbon of Lakeview Quilting "? There is a new pattern called "Water Lilly' and "Desert Rose" However the pattern is quite pricey. Beautiful but wonder how difficult they would be.

Wow...yes the patterns are expensive. But after looking at the pattern descriptions? I.E on the Water Lilly: This is a paper pieced design and is for experienced paper piecers. It does have curved piecing. It is a modified lone star pattern. All the foundation paper is included to make one quilt. The quilt measures 82" x 82".

Well, how confident do you feel? How experienced are you on curved pieced and paper piecing? I know this much...I have sewn and quilted for 25 plus years, plus done a little bit of paper piecing and I don't think I could do them.....but, my hat off to you, sweetie if you want to try. You won't know until that happens......

That is a beautiful pattern...but I almost choked when I saw the price! I don't think I would ever pay $50 for ANY pattern.

Keepsake Quilting has the Desert Rose pattern for a lot less

I haven't looked yet to see if they have the Water Lily.

Edit: Ok, they do have Water Lily ($50) which includes the foundation papers, and while the Desert Rose is less than $20, it doesn't include the preprinted foundation papers, just one to copy.
