    Default Triangle quiltalong finished

This quilt is the result of my first qal, the Bernina triangle qal hosted by Brigitte Heitland. She will be here to teach in August and I will join her. I think she will teach a Christmas related pattern..I am looking forward to meet her.
For this quilt I used her fabric line True Blue und Essex Yarndyed Linen for the backround. I like the look of the linen, but have to say that it was quite a challenge to work with it. I starched it because of all the bias edges, but it shrinked in some kind of irregular way and it was very difficult to cut precise strips. All this geometric shapes asked for wild and curvy quilting so I quilted feathers and pebbles.
Now I need a more whimsical and scrappy project, but I love this quilt!
Thank you for looking and have a nice weekend !

The piece-work is wonderful, but your quilting is stunning! Thanks for sharing.

This is just stunning! I love everything about it. It's hard to pick whether I like the piecing or quilting more because they are both awesome.
