How do you like the blue eye? Is it haunting and enchanting or eerie and scary?
Love the eye. Description will depend on the end result I say enchanting.

so much stitching happening!! I'm curious to see it all when it's finished, and I'm glad you got back to the 80s, you'll be happy when it gets completed.

We are expecting decent sunny weather for the next 5 days. Not sure how much sewing will get done.
it is so hard to keep a stash small, it really is a discipline!! Your work is lovely though, so keep at it! I wish I could use a long arm... my little condo in ATL is SO SMALL though, we could never squeeze one in there!!

I've broken down and begun packing up my sewing room... it's bittersweet, because even though I could get on the plane tomorrow, my quiet time in my own space is one thing I will really miss.. it will be a long time before we live in a house this big again.

Transition/change is always hard, even when you want it. And as a 'dining room quilter', I understand. I would love a dedicated studio space, too. But our foremothers managed, and so shall we.

Yes, change is hard! I too like the blue eye--I don't get any creepy vibes.
