    Christmas wreath

I started getting my Christmas work shop set up in the sewing room. Today I made two wreaths. Somehow I always get off to a good start but some where along the line become a slacker so I've got to start real early!

    Thanks for taking a peek!

I've been gathering materials, too. They're sitting in the closet taunting me. This is the year all of the Tuells come home for Christmas, so two more 'family' gifts to figure out. I'm not sure if Tammy's parents are coming for Christmas this year or not. After Mel's quilt, the plan is to start on those.

That is really cute. Is there a pattern/instructions available somewhere?

Thanks! I got this from idea from Lenie, another forum member. I saw hers and fell in love with it. It is one charm pack, sewn and stuffed, and tied onto a straw wreath.

Really cute! I remember when Lenie showed hers. Can I ask how big the straw wreath is? I have two Christmas charm packs and would like to make some for my dd's.

Cathy, This wreath is so CUTE! I really like the fabric. Smart Girl you for getting an early start. I don't see me making anything for Christmas this year. It may just be cards this year.

Do you have a certain way of filling up the wreath, like starting in the center or the outside or is it just purely random? Do you turn the pillows right side out or leave the seams and pink them?

Just love your wreath! I want to make one this year. And my ddil loves Halloween so she would love that theme too. Thanks for sharing.

Cathy, I love this wreath and thank you for sharing it. You did a marvelous job. I'd love to make a couple out of my Christmas scraps. Do you have specific instructions that you could send over to us? 12" inch wreath I got and 5" charms I got, but how is it put together? Is Lenie still member of the forum?

In another post I clicked on the site they said had the instructions from Lenie. It came up with the message. Post cannot be found. There must be directions somewhere on the web. I'm going to look.

You need a charm pack for each wreath, or 42 5" squares. With right sides together sew around 3 sides ( not on the fold), leave approx 1" opening on the long side. Turn right side out, make sure your corners are out. Stuff with poly fill till firm. I machine stitch the opening closed. I use white thread as that's what's usually on my machine, when tied on the wreath you don't seen the thread. Tie the bundles on to a 12" straw wreath, no set way to do it just to your liking.

                        Have fun making one!
