    Default Jelly roll rug

So, I did not have a pattern.....and learned much. Seam ripped three times. It is finally done. You can read how I done it here:

It turned out looking very 70s-ish, and am glad I chose this for a rug and not a quilt!

I enjoyed reading your blog about the rug. I made rag rugs in the 80's but I did a simple chain crochet stitch. I know all about the bowling effect and adding and letting out and ripping out. Your rug looks great. WHere would ;you get another rug like that for $50. It will be durable and last forever. I made one that has been on my front porch since 1983. When I wash it, it gets gaping holes that I just tie up and put it back in use. Enjoy your new rug
