Presencia 60 wt. cotton thread - anyone used it?

I visited my LQS today -- the first time since it changed hands last mo. I met the new owner. She is fazing out the RA cotton thread, which I have used for years, & now is carrying Presencia. It's a 3-ply cotton thread that produces much less lint & works great for those precise 1/4 seams as well as applique. It's made in 40 - 50 - & 60 wt. I'm just wondering if anyone has used this brand of thread? I read up a bit about it on line. I bought 1 cone to try it.

I know that the Featherweight Shop recommends and sells Presencia. I personally haven't tried it.

I have used it for piecing and been very happy with it. I found it at a LQS for a very reasonable price. I thought it was less linty than some other threads I've tried.

Well, I don't consider $30. a reasonable price, but it's a large cone.

I use 60 wt when sewing Batik fabrics. I like the brand over-all and have some basic neutral colors. Give it a try....
