    Default Wool Ironing Mat

Has anyone tried the new wool ironing mats and if so, what do you think? They seem a bit pricey so I was wondering if a 100% wool carpet protector might work. Any thoughts? This is my first time posting. Thanks!

Had a thread awhile back about them...
    Maybe it'll help you.

Hi and welcome! I have no idea about the mats, as wool isn't my friend and I avoid it!

Thanks. I searched for "wool" but it didn't return anything. Must have done something wrong...go figure!

Cheapo me decided to go for the wool rug protector at a fraction of the cost. I will let you know if it was a good purchase or if I will have to find another use for it. It was on sale for 15% off, so a 36" x 72" piece was $38.21 with free shipping. I'm always up for a great find!

Welcome! Will be looking forward to your review. I am not a fan of wool, to itchy for me, and have never heard of a wool carpet protector, but I am intrigued by the very pricey pressing mats.
