Default The Longgggggg Jelly Roll strip

I just couldn't resist posting this pic. This is about 2,000" jelly roll race strip, all the way across the front of my building and back again. I had two granddtrs way in the distance holding the fold in her hand.
Ouch, you know with all the holding and blowing in the wind, I had a lot of strings fraying off the fabric, soooo don't recommend taking a pic like this, BUT what fun we had trying to get a good picture.Click image for larger version.

Why did I suddenly get the urge to T.P. someone's house? Now there's a new prank we could start....J.R. a quilter's home on Holloween.

Hey hulamoon how are you anyway. I took the pic last July. It is raining here too, I was coming back from town and from Kaiser hospital to past Pearl City my windshield wipers couldn't keep up with the rain. So I had to get behind the guy in front of me and hope he could see where we were going.

So, how did the "quilt" end up? How long, how wide? Looks like a lot of fun!!

You silly goof!! Who would ever think of doing something like that with a JR strip?!! It sure made me laugh though! It was probably more fun to roll out than roll up afterwards. Some pirate words involved there I guess!

Ah, but the grandkids will remember the time grandma sewed a really long strip and they got a chance to see how long it was at her house. A memory maker activity. Thanks for sharing.

I've done that before. I got side swiped in the rain at 4: 00 in the morning going to work. Stupid guy tried to pass me. I had to pull over and catch my breath. Were you living here when there was 40 straight days of this? And I live by Mount Wai‘ale‘ale!

I hope you show us your quilt!
