I'm so torn because I love this as it is, colors and all.

I do not have that ruler. it is pricey because it is from Creative Grids which means it has the non slip surface built into it. I think creative Grids Rulers are worth the extra money, and this is coming from a very frugal quilter.

That is a beautiful pattern. I am not very confident sewing curves yet. Those skinny arcs scare me.

No, but it must be made of gold! I guess its an investment for future quilts. I do love that pattern and the fabric they used has a denim look to me. Which I also find appealing.

I have the creative grids circle ruler similar to that one. I haven't found a rotary cutter that works in it. But a frixon pen works well then I just cut on the line.

I don't have it either. It looks like you could make some pretty cool quilts with it. If you could sew curved pieces. Which I can't. Maybe someday??

Would Jo-Ann's carry it? Wait for a 50% coupon. (Just my thoughts).

I found it on Erica's web site and it say's you can make it without the ruler. I'm not afraid of sewing the curves ( from sewing lots of arm holes, lol) the cuts make me nervous though.

I found it for $9.00 else where. Maybe I'll do that and then decide.

Would the 18 mm rotary cutter fit in those curves?

Kinda reminds me of Drunkards Path (where the quilter probably needs a drink to work with those circles).

Any chance that it is raw edge applique?

It is pretty - please post a picture when you are finished.

It should work with the 18mm cutter.
