Default Sunday, Monday and Tuesday Proverb

This is either very late or very early.

Back story to this proverb, while driving thru Southwestern Kansas well after midnight I was searching the radio for a channel with something besides static. Well, out of no where came a old minister and his wife from Oklahoma. He had the most soothing voice and just talked good common sence. It was like they were sitting in the car with me and having a conversation. After listening to him for over 45 mins he said after the commercial break he was going to give his way of living a good life. I knew this was going to be good so pulled over, dug a piece of paper and pencil out of my purse and waited. So here is his words on how to live a good life. I hope to try to keep these in mind every day.

"1. See Jesus as a real person,( he doesn't walk around in a long white robe) 2. engage with life, ( try new things) 3. put aside differences, (hardest one of all to do) 4. spend only what you can afford, (keep a budget and stick to it)
    5. Keep an open mind of others ( yes, you are wrong sometimes), and 6. never mistrust God ( he never gives up on you so extend the same to him)." --unknown radio minister from Oklahoma.

My husband's grandfather was a Lutheran minister in Oklahoma. They later moved to Colorado and then to Nebraska where he and his wife retired. My husband has good memories of visiting his grand-parents and spending time with family and his cousins. This was his mom's parents, and they were born in Lohman, Missouri.

Hummm. He has a Missouri connection. Maybe we need to visit MO and M*QC.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.
