Navy, black and gray until I get to summer t shirts, which are much more colorful. Since I started quilting, I've gradually gotten bolder and braver with color in fabrics for quilts. Not my clothes though.

Well, I have actually made a few quilts out of old clothes. There were denim and plaids. I still have a corduroy stash (old pants, skirts and dresses) I want to use too some day.

I'd have to make a rag quilt ...
(denim and t-shirts mostly)

Well, if fabric becomes unavailable we will all have to raid MaryUK's closet. I look back at the quilts my grandmother made from old clothing and they were wonderful soft pastels and prints. When did we become so fashionably frumpy?

Odd woman out here, my closet is a rainbow! Lots of reds, blues, pinks.
Almost no brown, tan, black. No surprise I love bright cheerful quilts.

May I play too?
My quilt would be a comfy denim quilt with bright t-shirts mixed in. Lime green, aqua, pink, yellow and a cute flamingo. I love spring and summer-time shopping when my favorite colors are in stock.
Of course, the fabric stash coordinates with the clothes closet. Stacks and stacks of tropical batiks and only a couple of browns. LOL!
Fun thread!

I have one nice brown top, a couple of black one's and the rest is color and prints. My stash is all fun colors. On the other hand my house is brown/black furniture with dashes of blues and green and beachy stuff.
It would be a fun group!

What fun to see the colors of our clothes, mine would be a flower-filled quilt, I love prints and since I do not like pants my skirt, dresses and blouses are full of colors, sometimes I have to force myself to buy something smooth to compensate so much color
