I would love to know the name of this quilt and if it's one that Jenny has done a tutorial on. Would it make a nice baby quilt? I am working on one from the February Block magazine. Any suggestions on baby quilt patterns would be appreciated.

This would make a nice baby quilt. The quilt block can be made without a pattern. For example, sew a 2.5" wide strip of print fabric to a 2.5" wide strip of background fabric. The strip set should be be 4.5" tall. Cut across the strip set to make 4.5" squares. Use 4 squares, keep the background color to the outside while turning each square and you can create the turnstile effect. Sew the four squares together and you have one block. You can use any width strips you want and sub-cut them into squares based on the height of the strip set. The blocks are sewn together without sashing.

I think it's this one and just replace some colors with white.

This is a better link, but Myrna pretty much has it. I like it in all prints, how fun is that!

It's like a baby rail fence using just two strips instead of 4 or 5.

I made that quilt without a pattern years ago. It's super simple. Just follow the directions above. I did mine scrappy. It's one our favorite Fall quilts because of the colors.

Aww, your quilt is very pretty and I love those colors. I really like this pattern and I see now how simple it is to make. It will do up nicely with baby fabrics. Thank you for sharing.

I think it is a rail fence. I'll work up a block using 3 strips then decide from there. Thank you.

It is not sticks and stones. I know I've seen this tutorial but can't remember the name of the pattern
