Hi all - Andrew is still hanging in there! He has really been enjoying his Forum Mail. He is only opening one or two cards a day, so he still has some to open! He says you guys are part of his support network and he's really glad you're out there.
His cancer is progressing but we did get good news - he gained two pounds in the last month thanks to Ben & Jerry's ice cream. It's something he can easily eat so his wife Katy is feeding it to him daily. He is very thin from not being able to eat much. But two pounds is something!
He is actually tired of living with cancer at only 55 years old but is happy for the time he's getting to spend with his wife of almost two years (wedding anniversary March 13th) and her kids and his siblings. He has no energy so it's hard for him to do much more than stay in bed. That's hard for a man who has led such an active life.
Thanks again for all the cards, prayers and well-wishes! Our whole family appreciates it!
