    BACON WRAPPED STUFED ANEHEIM PEPPERS

Since peppers are so available here in Arizona I have been trying a few new recipes. Found this one that looks good.

Seriously. These are almost against my personal moral food code. Despite the fact that I have some decidedly fat laden recipes on this blog, these “appetizers” give me cause to consider…

By the way called home this morning and it is snowing and sleeting and the wind is blowing so hard nothing getting to the ground. White-out conditions. Meanwhile here I sit in shorts and t-shirt. Boy do I like being retired!!!!!!

WE so love Anaheim Peppers! I usually stuff mine with mushrooms and cheese . . . Got to try this.

BTW You are so looking great in shorts!

it's best not to try to put it out with gasoline.

cv quilter, I am dry camping in Quartzsite. It's been in the 80's all week. We hope to be able to hang in until the middle of March.
Sandy, thanks for the compliment. Better start getting your legs ready, your turn for shorts is coming!

Laura, I just chop up some baby portobello mushrooms, mix with grated cheese - Swiss is good (often just Feta or whatever I have), add salt, pepper, garlic, maybe a little onion. Put them in a baking pan, drizzle with olive oil and roast until tender. I'm more of an experimental cook who just relies on what I know goes good together. Right now I can see adding some chopped nuts to this - maybe English walnuts. Mouth watering.
