Default Friday's Card Trick tutorial = Saturday's Cot Quil

    Hi Friends,

My first grandchild is due at the end of May. She will be living in Far North Queensland, so will be warm for most of the year, but that doesn't mean I won't be quilting.
Friday's tutorial from Jenny was the Card Trick. I watched it Saturday morning, and decided that would be a quick and easy cot quilt. Six hours from go to whoa!
Yes I still have a borders to go, and the quilting and binding, but am waiting for daughter in law to give me the dimensions of her cot. My son didn't want much pink and I am no fan of white... so minty green yellows and lilacs it is. This will have very little batting, possibly only flannelette because of the heat of QLD.
I'll post a better pic when the borders are on and one that is outside in the sunshine so you can see the colours better.

Thanks for sharing my quilting journey.
