    Default Finished the Big Project!

    Hi

I just finished the last stitches on the Big Project. And in time to !

    It measure 57" by 74"

All that is left is putting on the binding and throw it in the washer.

There are some minor pleats in the quilt but I am sure my sister won't mind them.
At least there are no grand canyon pleats !"

Sorry for the bad pictures. It is evening here in Sweden.

The quilt is light grey on front and light purple on the back side.
I am thinking on maybe doing a faux piping binding. If I can find some good video tutorial on how to do it. And of course our quilt goddess has made one !

Would it not be pretty with some purple piping and grey binding ?

    What you think ?

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

It's beautiful! I remember you were doing a lion project. Are you still doing that?

That is wonderful what a great job, your sister will love and it will be a great gift, when I see these incredible works I want to try but I think I would never reach that level and I still like hand padding but I love to see such beautiful things
