Default Wildlife Fabric + WIP Buckeye Beauty Blocks

Regarding the Wildlife Rail Fence quilt, someone asked about the focus fabric. I have 25" left of the yardage. It was a repeating pattern. I doubt if this still is available. It was by Howard Robinson for Elizabeth's Studio. I bought it several years ago. I bought the last on the bolt. I'm using scraps from that as well as other scraps & fabric from FQs & yardage in my stash. This Buckeye Beauty quilt will be lap sized. I have 9 blocks made. These are in random order -- not the final lay-out. This just gives you an idea of what I'm working on. The blocks are 12.5". I googled Elizabeth's Studio fabrics. There are some great designs out there, both in yardage as well as panels, that one could use for a quilt. I saw loons, bears, deer, eagles, fish, horses, elk, wolves, African animals, etc. Let your imagination go & the creative juices flow. M* stocks a lot of panels. Fabric.com also has some. Wow Joy, you made some really neat blocks from that wild life fabric your quilt (other post) is amazing. Love how you worked this fabric into it and now I see some in your buck eye quilt. Love the fussy cuts! It's looking great and knowing your fabulous workmanship, it'll be amazing too! You're an inspiration! Thank you.

It is so nice when you can fit a little something special in by doing a fussy cut. Love the way it looks. Is it a flannel. Either way nice.

You must have the patience of Jobe to fussy cut those little trees. Outstanding

No, the fabrics are not flannel. They're all 100% cotton. When I was at the LQS earlier in the week, I bought fabric for backing. I'm using some of it sparsely in the blocks & probably will use it also for the binding.
