Re: Anyone Have M*'s Zig Zag Ruler?
I finally found it!
I even went to char hopemans website [also hard to find BTW] and she doesn't even tell us.
Geez, how do you wanna sell something, especially a template and not tell us the size?
Anyway, this page tells us.
eQuilter is the world's favorite Quilt Fabric store for quilting, sewing and fabric lovers. Free Shipping on orders $100 or more!
5" x 5" tool - finshed block size 4 1/2"

M* is usally pretty good about such things. We shouldn't have to spend over an hour finding out such details.

It reminds me of an old tutorial Jenny did for the Basic X-Block Ruler quilt: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxk3...GoxJU&index=44.

Yes, you can put tape on a ruler. I've done it for a baby quilt pattern. Way back when, I had several sizes of plexi-glass cut for me and I took one of them and marked it.
Everyone who saw it thought it was one of those twister tool quilts.
Here's that quilt with instructions:

Re: Anyone Have M*'s Zig Zag Ruler?
The posting on the M* site is a little misleading because at first I thought this was an item produced by m*. I noticed in the pdf sheet that is out there on the web that you need to work with 2 3/4" strips to make the strip set for the ruler. So no jelly rolls. I thought the patterns on the link Lorie posted look a lot like several Cozy Quilt designs that I like. And the Cozy Quilt Strip Tube ruler is a lot more versatile, imo. This is definitely not something I would pick up.

Re: Anyone Have M*'s Zig Zag Ruler?
Ooh, you can't use JR strips?
I liked when I found out that it makes 5" squares, because you can use them with charms, although I can't think of why that would be useful yet.
but a tool that uses strips, but not JR's is a deal breaker for me. I have loads of JR rolls, and I cut up my scraps into 2.5 strips.
I'll just make my own - again.
