I find parchment paper works just a bit better then foil in the oven. I cook at 400 I usually use a rack but sometimes just put it on the parchment paper if I am using my quarter backing sheet as I don't have a rack that fits that one. Much nicer crisp bacon then in the microwave. Bacon thickness does effect time it takes to cook. I usually put the bacon in first then start to prep the rest of the breakfast so they come out about the same time.
