    Beautiful quilt! I agree with the people suggesting a light grey/silver. Just this weekend I did some FMQ on a brightly colored jelly roll race quilt (fabric was Lattitude Batiks by Kate Spain). My gut told me to use white or light grey, but my mom convinced me to use a variagated thread. I should have listened to my gut - the variagated is really standing out and my FMQ skills are still in the beginner stages.

    Someone already suggested rainbow variegated thread. Another option is an invisible thread. Just be sure to get a high quality invisible thread for best results and fewer frustration. And if you go for invisible, you need to be sure you use a horizontal thread pin. If your machine has a vertical pin like mine, you can purchase an adapter that fits on your bobbin winder pin. Ask me how I know 😁
