Longest & fastest months of my life! Construction update.

We signed the contract mid August and we are getting closer to closing, but the holidays and cold weather delayed the closing a month.

Meanwhile, I've packed my stash and most of my supplies. I did leave out the basic essentials.

We are looking at about 3 weeks until closing!!!!

I'm so ready to be out the tiny rental 1020 sq ft moving to a whole new 2500 sq ft house. New husband in June, New house in January! it's been a bust time.
In the new house, I'll get a huge bonus/craft/sewing room, instead of a table in the corner of the living room.

I've really missed having the ability to sit and sew during this MAJORLY stressful time, especially over the Holidays. (the close date they missed was 12/29 = chaos & drama)

Today when I went by they were putting down the sod! Getting really close now!
I can barely wait to get moved and unpacked and ready to sew!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the house and the Hubby!! I know having a dedicated sewing room will be wonderful for you. (and having a Hubby won't be too bad either!!)

Congratulations on your new home and husband. Can't wait to see pictures of your new sewing room. I know the feeling of being cramped since I live in a duplex, ugh... Your house is beautiful and BIG. Love an upstairs. Love your banister porch.

Congratulations and best wishes on your new start - home and hubby and hobby. (Corny, but triple H joy to you).
I started new life with hubby in 2010, where we bought a home to fit our hobbies, my sewing and his trains. After I retired, I took up quilting and guess what, he was fascinated also, and joined in. Now we have two sewing rooms we share and overspill in family room. It's great. Enjoy your new home, it will be fun to set up just like you may have always dreamt.
