    Default A couple of finishes!

I thought I would share a couple my recent finished projects. Thanks to Eleanor Burn's easy pattern
I was able to finish my queen size Double Irish Chain in time for Christmas. I finished it off with a
    Seminole border.

My second finish is a set of placemats that I made for a housewarming gift.

I love the fabric choices in your Double Irish Chain quilt. I've made the quilt using white as the background color. Wish I would have used white in the chain and color in the large block like you did. I normally don't make the same large quilt twice but I might have to give it another try. Thanks for sharing.

Your Double Irish Chain is lovely. Those colors and fabrics make it both an elegant and cozy looking quilt. Really pretty. Adding that Seminole border really finished it off nicely. Those placemats are very nice.

Your quilt is gorgeous. I love the colours. I appreciate the work that went into making the Seminole border. It's not as easy as one would think.

I love the color for the center in the double irish chain. It turned out beautiful.

Thanks for the kind words. I really enjoyed the process so might make a scrappy one for summer.

Love that quilt, I made one from her book early in my quilting journey, I think I may have to give it a try again.

Love your quilt! The colors and use of fabric give it a Southwest feel. Great job.
