Default The cat couldn't resist the wrapping

I made a nice quilt for my BIL and SIL and folded it neatly and found a box, just the right size. I left it on the table and went about doing chores yesterday.
I came in last night to finish wrapping and lo and behold it is covered in cat hair. Filthy dirty on the whole top of the quilt. He must have wallowed all over it.
So, I took it to the washing machine, used spot cleaner on it and washed it gently. It came clean, but it just doesn't have the new crispness that I love about a brand new quilt. Its crinkly. I guess I'll wrap it anyway. I don't have time to make another.

Awww, they surely do love our quilts too. I am one who loves the crinkly, the more the better. I am sure it will be loved by its receiver.

I understand, I like a new quilt, but I also like the crinkly feel. I'm sure it's
    beautiful!

I have it from very wizened souls that manufacturers intentionally add catnip and tuna flavoring to their quilt batting rolls . . . it's the truth and I'll stand by it.

Ohhhhhhhh I so know the feeling, lol. But if the cat don't like , start over so yours must be awsome.

Must be true because I've never made a quilt that didn't have to be washed because the cat slept on it. Kathy
