Change my profile picture

I thought I knew how to do this but guess I'm doing something wrong. Please fill me in on how to change my profile picture. And what is Avatar?

The avatar is what your picture right above your name (to the left mine looks like fireworks) is called.

Go to settings and click edit avatar.

If you want one where you have a signature, you can add a different one there.

I do have a profile picture, but it is neither of the pictures that show up. You have to actually go into my profile to see it, I think.

Go to the top of the main forum page, click SETTINGS. This takes you to your settings page. Scroll about halfway down, on the left side you will see My Profile, under which is Edit Profile Picture and Edit Avatar.

You profile picture is the one that shows up on your profile page.
Your avatar is the little picture that shows up next to your posts.

My profile pic is me, and my avatar is Mickey. Yours are the same image. Avatars are limited by size, if what you want to use doesn't work, you will have to reduce the size or find something smaller.

GOT IT. Had to try couple of times. Had to downsize picture. Thanks.

I tried to change mine also. Oh scream its upside down! I have not a clue how I fixed it.
