    I needed a bit of color....

    So, we are now in an apartment that is all white. My hubby asked for a quilt that had some color. I wanted to be bolder and went with a pattern from Kaffe Fassett's "Quilts of Italy" book.

    The back is grunge hits the spot in eggplant:

    I did SITD and this a cross hatch on the 16 patched & FMQ on the flowers

    This is finished quilt. The batting is Quilters Dream Wool for winter nights.

    Now onto some matching pillowcases.
