Default Facing My Fears: Machine Quilting A Wool Applique Quilt

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Thank you do much for posting this. I have had it in mind to try some wool applique, but didn't know where to even begin. Now I have a path and a Craftsy class by Sue Spargo, the designer of the quilt Angela quilted. And the class was on sale. Yippee!

I've quilted a wool appliqué quilt and didn't think much about it, just jumped in and did it. BUT, it didn't have near the embroidery and little add on extras that Sue Spargo is known for. I'm sure I would not have been so fool hardy with one like that. Angela's work amazes me.
