Default Disappointed in the Sew Slip Multi Purpose Sheet

I ordered this, got it yesterday. I can't seem to smooth out the creases to lay flat on my machine bed. I certainly can't put an iron to it. Plus it's not quite big enough for my use. I read the return policy, says if opened can't return. So I spent $27.95 on a product that I'm not happy with. This product should never be packaged and mailed like this.

How very frustrating for you. I have never heard of this problem. Just off the top of my head here is what I would try to get the creases out without damaging the Sew Slip. Lay the sew slip flat on a heat resistant water proof surface, like your kitchen countertop. Heat a wet washcloth up in the microwave and lay it over the creased area for a few minutes. Then remove the hot washcloth and cover the area with a water resistant large flat surface like a cookie sheet. Place heavy objects like books evenly on top of the cookie sheet until everything cools.

    Good luck and happy quilting.

I should have mentioned that I store my sew slip rolled up inside the core of a roll of paper towels just so it doesn't get creases in it.

If it arrived creased, I would still contact the seller and let them know that the product has defects and you were unaware of the defects until after you opened the packaging.

Might try laying it in the sun, possibly using a hair dryer might work too and faster.

That would be my suggestion as well. It might just need some time to "relax" outside the packaging.

I may do that. I'm thinking if this product had been rolled instead of folded it would not have creases.

Thank you all, I will try these suggestions. Yesterday I put books on top but didn't help. I have it on top of my machine bed now and it doesn't lay flat where the creases are.

I would call seller and get a replacement. This is not a product that should be folded. It should be rolled. That is way too much money to put out on a product and it not arrive perfect.
