Question Help in choosing a background color for a quilt

I hope someone is able to help me with this. I am using Snowfall Wovens by Moda to make a Disappearing Hourglass 2 quilt. I don't know which solid to go with for my background. I know it needs to be off white, maybe Ivory, but I don't know which Kona Solid, or any other brand, might have an ivory. I've looked at colors all day on websites, but I know the colors are not the same viewing them this way. Any suggestions? Thanks

Is this the line? https://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop...nts-charm-pack M* is so good, they put a selection of coordinating solids on the bottom of most selections, for this one I think I would choose the blue, the Snow color would be my second choice.

Kona Snow might work for you. It's just slightly off of pure white. You sure can't go by color names. Who would think there are so many shades of white?

I agree with Astatoo ( Beth) .....I think you might have a problem trying to match up the off white....UNLESS you find something in the fabric store ( Jo-Ann's) . If you take it to Jo-Ann's they can match it up for you....at the JoAnn's I shop occasionally shop at I have went to the cutting counter and the employees have a book you can look thru for the right color of the fabric you are looking for. Then , when you find the right color, they will show you where it is in the store etc. So, if you are really set on an off-white, I would go to Jo-Ann's and ask for their help.

I like the Bella solids and ordered a color chart for them. I like the feel of the Bella better than the Kona.

Hancock's of Paducah has the Bella color card for $35 and the Kona color card for $20. Not sure if these prices are good or not.

I don't remember paying that much. I must have found it on sale somewhere.

It's the Snowfall Woven which has some blues in it...never thought of going with blue instead of an off white!
