    Default Monopoly Quilt Top Completed

I had several people at the Fall Forum Retreat ask me to post pics of the Monopoly quilt top when I finished it. I put the last seam in tonight. I need to sandwich and figure out how I want it quilted.

This top is extra special because Bernice (Stitching Woman) and Jean (JeanSewingMachine) put in a seam or two while we were at the Fall Forum Retreat.

I've been curious to see this one after reading several posts where it was mentioned. Now I can see why the girls were so excited about it. It's wonderful, brings back lots of childhood memories of marathon Monopoly games.

That turned out great and a lot bigger than I imagined it would. I wonder if there is a dollar sign quilting pattern.

Nice to see it pieced, boB. You did a great job. I know it took a lot of patience and it looks wonderful.

Yeah, it's wonderful. Well worth all the work. Maybe quilt it with train engines? Or rectangles to represent the money?

You did a really nice job . Love the fabric. It brings back memories of when I was young and long- long games with my sister. Can't wait to see how you quilt it.

    Karen,

Sandy Navas is checking into digitizing the Monopoly tokens and then I could get it quilted in rows of tokens. I think that would be super neat, but dollar signs would be a great idea if the tokens don't work out.

And yes it is much bigger than I was expecting. I'm going to find a quilt rack to hang it on the wall in my bedroom. I think it will have to be folded to fit into the space that I have for it.
