Brynn Hallie was born yesterday afternoon weighing in at 6 pounds 15 ounces. Carter is smitten with her. Will see how long that lasts when they get home and mommy doesn't have his undivided attention. Our son has been sending the cutest videos of him singing his favorite tunes to her.

We are heading out tomorrow and will come home Sunday. Our intent was to drive down Saturday and come home Sunday but our son was disappointed and wanted us to come sooner. I might go back after her mom leaves, not so much to help with the baby but to play with Carter. He has no idea how much his life is going to change as they have never taught him to play by himself. They always play with him and now there won't be time.

Well...maybe if "Mommy" gives him little things to do for his new sister....he won't feel so left out. We had the same thing happen when I gave birth to our daughter, with our son Jeremy who was 3 1/2 yrs old when Mysti Dawn was born ( they are now 42 & 39 yrs old ! ( and have given me 7 grandkids.....of course I have two more children, Travis(37) & Jordan(31) ! ) Jeremy was a little put out at first...but soon learned to love his baby sister !
