    Default Christmas sweater blocks

Last year I bought this paper piecing pattern to make ugly Christmas sweater blocks. They ended up being 6 1/2" blocks and after making one I decided they were just too fiddley for me and I stopped. I was working on a Christmas quilt last week and decided the fabric would be perfect for the blocks so I blew the pattern up 200% so the blocks would be 12 1/2" and gav e it another try. Although I don"t think they are "ugly", I now am ready to make some more and finish a quilt with them.Click image for larger version.

Love it. What great use of the fabric. Tula Pinks fabric is so lovely.

I'm with you... larger is better!! Great job on those blocks... I'm loving what you are doing with that pattern.
