If you want moist cornbread here is the recipe for you: Honey-Moist Cornbread
    1 Cup all purpose flour
    1 Cup yellow cornmeal
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 TLB. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 cup whipping cream
    1/4 cup honey
    2 eggs slightly beaten
Heat oven to 400 degrees. I medium bowl stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, backing powder & salt. Stir in remaining ingredients just until moistened. Pour into greased 9" baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Serves 6. Not your typical southern cornbread recipe but if you are looking for moist this is it.

Since my mom passed away, I normally just use the recipe on the box of cornbread......I like mine alittle sweeter. ( Mom used to call it Johnnie Cake ) My dad thought he had a FIRST CLASS meal if mom made Bean Soup w/Bacon & Ham, and of course Johnnie Cake. I love Bean Soup.....in fact now that y'all are talking about corn bread....maybe I will make some bean soup and freeze some of it. I love soup and have some great soup recipes !
