I have several pair and love all of them. My favorite is the N5135, 5 1/2" embroidery scissors. I use them everyday for the last few years and they're still sharp and precise.

I'm a big fan of KAI scissors. Their embroidery scissors are the only ones I use. I took advantage of the sale...love the free shipping, too. Thanks for posting this, Sharyn.

Which rotary cutter do you suggest? There are 3 45mm cutters.

I got mine at a show and they did not have a multiple choice. I do have one 45 and another, the next size down. Let me look at their page and see if I can figure it out.

              I have the 5028 and the 5045.

From looking at the Video it looks like it's not cutting on the edge of the ruler ... but a bit to the side.

Anyone know how it works with any of the strip cutters that have incremental slits?

If you are talking about the rotary cutters, it does cut right next to the ruler, just like other rotary cutters. That said, you can use them on those rulers with the slots, but it's not easy! I use my old Olfa cutter for those.

Thanks for the tip. I want to try their knives, so this sale comes at the right time. I have their true left handed scissors, and I like them a lot.

It does not work with the stripology ruler. I love Kai scissors but I do not like their rotary cutter. I contacted them about the rotary cutter. They presumed it was a flaw in the one I purchased so they sent me a replacement cutter. I didn't like that one either. It's now sitting in "the drawer".

Sharyn, Thanks for posting this. I just ordered a pair of the professional shears for substantially less than I would pay for them here in Canada and that is with paying for shipping and the exchange on our dollar. Thank you.
