    Default name badge

I'm going to a quilt show in October and will be taking a few classes (my first time doing so. I'm nervous!) It is suggested that we wear a name badge of some sort. I've been trying to find something fun I can embroider on my embroidery machine. I've looked in my usual embroidery haunts and have come up with nothing. Anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe use this as a starting point? I think it is cute as shown, but embroidery added would be awesome, imo.

I once used the luggage tag from Embroidery Library as a name tag. Have fun at the show.

I'd find a good leaf pattern and make a badge from that. Embroider that onto a pretty piece of fabric, add your name inside and you are done.

If you are like me, you probably have a leaf or pumpkin design in your files somewhere.

Go on Pinterest and type in "quilted name tags" you will see so much eye candy you will be there all day! Usually if you click on a pin it will then take you to the instructions. Have fun looking!

A dear friend made my name tag using these designs in the small size 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. Name can be added after the EMB design.
She stitched out a front side and a different design for the back side.

Sandwich the two pieces with a piece of stiff stabilizer and add parachute cord/ ribbon for neck strap. Have fun!

Holy cow I forgot I had a Holloween Quilt CD by her. I'm going to take a look at that.

I saw this one and liked it. But I'm fearfeal of not having it zip. I may have to try and combine this design with the suggestion that Rhonda K made.
