    Default Disappearing 9 patches.

I had decided a week or so ago to do something that made me happy. I had to get away from a pattern I did not enjoy. So I decided to play with the 9 patch variations. Still have squares cut out for 2 more Quilts of Valor 9 patch tops in 2 other patterns. But here are the 3 of the 5 I have ready to submit for quilting.

You've done a great job. Love the D9P - great color layout for QOV and also like the layouts. Look forward to seeing the other 2 ....

Those are all really nice. I especially like the middle one. I've not tried this pattern...yet.

Those look great and have reminded me of the possibilities of the D9P.

I went on the internet and put in Disappearing 9 Patch and a bunch of different designs came up. #3 you cut corner to corner and then up and down - and side to side. Then you arrange the blocks as you wish and sew them together. #1 you cut up and down and then side to side. Then you cut each block diagonally and rotate to form a pattern. I did not get instructions on either of them but played it by looking for what I wanted.
