Default Hobbs charity batting shipping fyi

I just got off the phone with Hobbs batting.they called to verify my credit card. I asked how much the shipping was on the two rolls I ordered...$67! Wow. That made 60 yards of batting about $218. Or $11 per 90*108 inch roll. When connecting threads runs a sale it's not much more than that. I cancelled my order.

Terry ~ There are other web sites that sell Hobbs 80/20 batting. Check out Marshall Dry Goods Co., Inc. A 30 yd. roll (96"wide) is $110. Not sure what S & H would cost. Amazon sells it for $134.40/roll + $24.95 S & H. Heartbeat Quilting also sells the rolls for $115. Do some price comparisons. I hope you find a good price.

Even though it wasn't bad it wasn't the deal they made it seem. Walmart has 6 yd rolls for $14.07. 5 rolls equal 30 yds for $75 free shipping

Terry ~ Did you find HOBBS 80/20 at Wal-Mart? I just browsed 20 of the 50 pages but didn't see any Hobbs. I saw Pellon, warm & natural, poly, etc., but no Hobbs. I didn't feel like browsing 30 more pages.

I use the Pellon Natures Touch from WalMart and have it shipped to the store. I love the batting. I usually get the cotton but last time I ordered the 80/20 and love it too.

No! It's the pellon 80/20. I figured it would be similar. Plus I'm miffed at hobbs
