    Default Twinkling Stars quilt tutorial

Hi there! I just started making a twinkling stars quilt, and I think I've found a mistake in the fabric requirements for the quilt.

Each completed 4-patch block (4 of the smaller blocks put together) requires 2- 5" squares (8 x 2 1/2" squares).
That being said.....there are 42 blocks in the quilt....meaning you are going to need 84 solid 5" squares. The fabric requirements tell you you need only 1 solid charm pack......and you need 2 of them.

Just thought I'd point that out to you so it can be changed.

I'm making this quilt now and I was going crazy thinking that I was "missing something"-you are absolutely correct- Mathematically, it just didn't make sense-the tutorial and the paper pattern I purchased are both incorrect.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts -now I can sleep better!!
