Default Butterfly House Quilt in memory of Gerry

I have it all pieced now. I don't think I'll be able to put the backing and quilt it until early Sept when I get my social security check. Is that ok? Also is using poly or poly cotton batting ok? Forgot to mention it will be approx 50x58

You sure put that together quickly. I was just watching the tutorial & wondering if I want to make a whole quilt or just some blocks. I made my own notes & drew a block diagram. If I make one, it won't be that big. Appx. 40 x 60 is about all I want to manhandle with my table top LA.

Judy, just sent you a PM, thank you :-)

JCY I had a break in projects so I started it and before I knew it, it was done. The size was pretty much as the tutorial said. I had made a few adjustments. I have a queen size frame so size wasn't a problem for quilting it. It was made with just fabrics that were left over pieces from other projects. They were larger pieces but still left overs so it worked out fine.

It turned out beautifully. I can't begin to say thank you enough for all that you do for me. It will be greatly loved and cherished. Of that, I am sure. PS: Ya'all are a lot faster than me, lol.

You're welcome. Back in 2002 I lost my mother in law who I had cared for when she was sick. I loved her dearly, she was my mother-in-law, like sister and my best friend. In the end she was in hospice and they were so wonderful. So, I really wanted to do this.

Maybe some QAYG blocks would be helpful? Then you wouldn't need extra supplies and someone could put them all together. It might work.

And this blue one is beautiful!
